I feel totally lost for this entire week. Tell me what should I do after sending my children 2 school which I use to practice yoga in YZ. I really worried. I dare not to tell my husband as I signed up GC December last year.

Thanks Jess for this info. My hubby and I are member of YZ in Cheras Plaza. Last class we went was 26 July. Already felt the environment there very tense. Everyone was talking about this issue. I didn’t know they are going to cancel all classes this week. Thanks to my consultant, Jess (same name with you) for sms me. At least she’s professional enough to feel responsible for her signed up members.

i am practioners in yz cheras and damas.. Practising yoga has been part of my life now and i am sure a lot of you out there have the same feeling. All of us are really dissapointed at the management and i know a lot of the members out there are looking for new places to practise. Can anyone suggest a good place where we can continue to practise? After all the stories we heard and read about the “lovely” con man - TJ and the management, most of us have lost confidence in the company…Just hope everyone will continue to practise yoga and will not stop because of the changes…

the notice put up saying that the 1 week closure is due to management changes, is only a hoax with the sole purpose of buying time.

dear kp, i am so sorry to put you in this deep shit situation, i promise that i will what i promise to you. i know you will not give up to practice yoga, i won’t give up too. what we can do now is just waiting for the further notice.

Jc, the credit card bank will not stop charging the balance outstanding under easy payment scheme coz’ the full amount have been paid out already. This is how its works, easy payment scheme is between credit card holder and credit card bank and NOT with the shop. As soon as the card is being swipe, the shop will receive its FULL PAYMENT within 3 days, the latest, from credit card bank, then credit card owner must ‘man man’ pay installment on monthly basis.

Yoga Zone will not re open next week. There is no new management. All of the foriegn teachers are being evicted from their homes with no prior notice because rent has not been paid for 3 monthes. All the checks that were given last week bounced. There is no money left. Foriegn teachers are being detained at the border because YZ has not paid their taxes.

What “The Journey” had mentioned is totally true. Cherish the next 5 days you have to practise at your respective outlet. Even if it is just for one hour self practise. Judging from the information that I have collected,I am quite doubtful if there do exist such as a “NEW MGMT” taking over. Think about it guys. Would there be such a case of red paint being spilled at Comfort Zone, Tmn Desa?? Why YZ would still be owing rent?? If there is a New Mgmt, where are they? Why aren’t they paying the rent? Why there’s no announcements about the take over? Shouldn’t there be a press conference? So many others more.

I hope my speculations will not be true. Or else, we all will be doomed!!!

YZ today, is the result of a poorly managed team. I’m a neutral party who observed the way YZ did their business for more than a year. The most fundamental idealogy of their business started wrongly. The whole management is not transparent at all, lack of communication between top and bottom management, no proper market research and feedback from customers, no proper financial planning and risk management. Without a proper foundation, YZ thought they can expand as fast as possible by opening new outlest blindly (apparently they do not know about the law of diminishing marginal return), and to generate as much sales as possible by all means (lifetime membership ftw). Hopefully the new management (if there will be one) could fix this mess.

I’m gonna take a drive to YC Tmn Desa to see for myself if there was really any red paint, as said. Will keep you guys updated. Now my heart is beating with trepidation just thinking about my RM 1488 gone down the drain. And to think it was birthday present too.

Dear members, ask yourself one question, if we were to close down YZ, why 7 days? Or else, we could just close the outlets completely without staff to attend to you. Things are planned in this way as I already experience how bad can the damage be when rumours spread. Just got a call from friend that the Sin Chew Jit Poh had published that outlet which got splashed the RED Paint. Anybody know Chinese can look to it for more details on today SCJP paper.

It’s pity to see once a well known company to have such a day. Less and less ppl are now in YZ office. from the days 40~50 ppl until today not more than 5 in the management. for the outlet, they are struggeling to know what will happen. I received their SMS and MSN until i am unable to answer back to them. Hopefully the so call new management are able to bring back the glory days of YZ.

I am the GC member from Tmn Desa and have paid around 4++k for the GC. B4 that, I’ve paid for one yearly membership.

Even though TJ owes money to many people, I don’t think he can come up with the total payment to pay all in one time. Even though the new management takes over, the outstanding debts will not be settled in one goals. Usually the process is lengthly, and it’s gonna take time to pay them all off. I can say the process can easily drag for at least 3 years… provided the company is still around.

Even if he gets sued for the debts he owes to his creditors, staff, teachers, etc, guess who’ll be paid first if ordered by court?…….Creditors.

Life is too short to worry everything. If you don’t have faith in TJ, just move on. If things dont work out, it won’t. There’s not much you can do for now, except to file complaints at EPF, SOCSO, LHDN and/or labour dept (if u qualified) to keep the records on file.

Hope the company can survive during this crisis….then there’ll be hope in getting your money back *gradually*, and the members can continue practice yoga. If not, so long every member in the club.

I suspect TJ cannot announce because the buyer/new management has not sign on the dotted line. Verbal assurance and commitment (eg. closure for only 1 week, extension of membership and recognition of vouchers etc etc) should not be discussed on the blog or relied upon until they sign on the dotted line. I think TJ is really trying to pacify everyone. If new mgt/buyer go back on their words, things will only get worse and all teachers, members, staff and the public will get angrier. I think given the state of affairs and condition of the company now, one week may not be realistic. We shd not be misled by the buyer/new mgt.

Sorry to reply late. Whatever TJ says will be excuses, then why do you expect me to reply and then get attacked again?
Please refer to the “peace on earth”, I had my feedback of the red-paint at Taman Desa this morning. It was cleaned up quickly because my parents were there to help to clean up too, they know that today the representative of the new management is going to pay a visit, the “red-paint” will only make the transition impossible to go through. If it’s not being repainted immidiately, then you all will blame YZ efficiency; painting too fast you then mention it’s covering the situation.
Luckily, the visit this afternoon was positive, thanks to the smily and happy Taman Desa’s team, despite of what happened, you all had deleivered the best in your duty.
I only managed to reply now cause having a long discussion with the representatives. They had been following the blog very very closely, it was printed out in sequence and showed to me, they highlighted certain issues which the relevant people have to answer during the meeting. FYI, the meeting for employees is confirmed on Thursday, I’m trying my best to convinice to keep the payroll up-to-date and to ensure the resigned staff salary be paid also. Aren’t that what you all want? What do you all want? I don’t want the transition to be shaky/ uncertain, then of course, in your mind again, TJ is making up story again…
The representative had englihtened me very much today, YZ is not a country, it’s a private limited company, and also a seperate entity, TJ and YZ are two seperate entities, YZ is the company that owe you but not TJ personally.
I’m taking every sinle steps that I can to prevent further damage but some of you won’t let go any single chance to attack, what will you eventually get? I’m not the person to announce the new management team, it’s the new management team that will call for the employees meeting and the creditors meeting. It’s only 5 more days to Monday! I’ve received sms last night and this morning that DAP (Tan Kok Wai) will be having a meeting at Cheras Plaza outlet (not sure with YogaZone or members as different messages received). Guess someone or more than that couldn’t wait till Mon and already taken action. Things really beyond control now and hope it won’t worsen the situation, but really in doubt so….

This would be kinda long-winded, please bear with me. Thanks.

1) I’m currently chasing and waiting for a refund payment for my gf from YZ after a YIN Yoga TTC was canceled. However, this has not been very successful.

2) I’ve spoken to the PIC of TTC, Ms. Lee from accs and finally, Mr. Marcus.

3) I spoke with Mr. Marcus on 25 July and he told me to give him till monday, 28 July to prepare the cheque and that it should be ready by then. Up till that day, Mr. Marcus has been very polite and helpful in his reply. However, this changed when on Monday i called asking for the cheque, he asked if i’ve seen the notice.

4) I said yes and so? I wanted my cheque and the closure has nothing to do with it. He replied the new management is taking over and all operations of the company will be suspended for 1 week.

5) According to him, this was a decision reached on 27th July after a management meeting. I pressed on for my cheque but he can’t give me an answer, just kept on telling me to wait for the new management.

6) I asked him then, is he in the new management setup? He said no. So i asked him again, then how would he know that the new management will honour his, now empty, promise to me? He can’t answer but to ask me to wait for the new management.

7) I told him then to give me the number of the PIC of the new management as, obviously, he is no longer in any position to do anything useful. He told me the new management is an external consulting firm but he’s unable to give me the numbers. So i asked for TJ’s number cos according to him, TJ may or may not sold his shares to the new company, it’s only a new management taking over.
But he refused to give TJ’s number to me as well so i kept pressing on, to the point of begging of getting our own money back. After a while, he slammed down the phone and refused to pick up my subsequent calls.

9) I believe there are others out there would share my predicament and are desperate to get their money back. Legal action: A group of teachers went to ask for legal advice. If we want to take action we have to hire a private industrial laywer to file a civil suit. If we all put a little money in to share the financial burden we have a case.

I’ve been practicing yoga at yogazone for 6 months. I’ve always enjoyed the classes. What has happenned this past week has been really unfortunate for everyone. Hope matters can be resolved and yogazone will resume business as usual next monday. Looking forward to a new and improved yogazone.

Like some of you I became a GC member 2 years ago. I looked at the membership fee felt it was cheap and did not make business sense. I decided to take it as it was equivalent to 3.5 years of yearly membership and as long as the company do not go under in this time frame I was okay.

What I observe is the fast expansion without proper management especially into the fitness business where investment in equipment is very heavy waas exteremely risky. The funds raised by selling GC memberships went into the expansion.

With the red paint situation its looks bad as money must have been borrowed from Ah Longs.

All of us members and teachers have contractual relationship with the company. So if the company goes under we kiss our money good bye. Suing a bankruot company is fruitless.

Unless we are able to view the Balance Sheet of the company and also look at the Profit & Loss statements we cannot judge whether the company will survive and whether anyone is willing to inject money into the company.

But from the feedback of various teachers,the money owed to the tax department and epf for some time deducted from employees really means the company is scrapping the bottom.

I know its frustrating for all of us and I am glad this blog provided a forum for people to vent their frustrations.

In the end the key will be whether there is really someone who is actually willing to invest further in the company.

Can anyone advise, if the new management take over YZ, is YC Melaka will reopening?? i think there is rare chance, as the advertisement has been removed. i feel upset, for me money is not the main concern, the main concern we couldnt find such a nice teacher teaching us Yoga. i am fresh of yoga student, i started learn yoga with YC melaka since 2 months. when i start love yoga & found it is benefit to my health.. why suddently bcome like this..

When I first step foot at the YZ Weld 3 months ago, it wasn’t the ambience that attracted me to take up yoga but my determination to learn yoga. I lead a fast life and have no time to practice yoga but YZ with its capable and remarkable set of instructors, I have a lot to gain. Amanda & Jazzlyn taught me poses that I myself was surprise that I was capable of doing. Not only did they teach us but they also motivated us. But alas, few weeks after I took up the yearly membership the both of them were leaving YZ. And I’m glad for them that they left otherwise look where is YZ heading for??

TJ, teachers/instructors are your biggest assets. They are the ones that can either pull in or pull out your members hence your $. Why did you have to wait so long to take action? One year of EPF, Socso, etc. were not paid and yet you did not rectify that problem. If you had, it would not have led to the current situation.

The foreign teachers. Don’t you think they will be better off elsewhere. Dr Ameen, where in Malaysia do you have a qualified doctor as a yoga instructor. And yet YZ had him. Pari, Matthew, Lila and others whom I’m not familiar with, for all you might know becos of them new members like me were signing up. A few of my friends from the corporate world who attended some of these classes with me were keen to sign up but when they saw YZ having problems they have since moved over to Pavillion. Say in a few years when this set of foreign teachers look back they will not have nice things to say about Malaysia, YZ in particular. They might even end up saying YZ is a nightmare. Imagine what would that do to your reputation!!

You were too busy expanding that you never saw what was happening in your own backyard. Do you really have a strong HR & finance team or is it made up of your own friends and clique. As a CEO/director or whatever, you should have drawn a line between employer and employee. Obviously you had not and now its your own people, staff, etc who are pulling you down.

TJ, you build YZ, you should have built your staff as well. You should have asked ‘why’ at that time, not now when its critical.

Well I have news for you…its not too late. If you have faith in yourself and if you ‘believe in believe’ or whatever that means, I hope you have already drawn up a master plan for ‘damage control’. Pay your teachers and front desk ppl first cos they are the ones running the show. Motivate your front desk to act as consultant as well cos they are the front liners of a company, not the consultant. The consultant are only interested in getting us signed up then they ‘dump’ us. If you believe you can come out of this mess, then target to have your timetable online latest by 3pm Friday. Get your outlets running. Have confidence in yourself. Don’t sleep for the next few days, in fact you should not be sleeping at all till this mess is resolved. Start reading Stephen Covey’s 7 habits of highly effective people. It will do you good. In fact I should not be telling you this. You should have known all these already!

If YZ is the lifestyle place and the best wellness centre prove it that you can maintain your vision.!!

I’m not a yoga practitioner and i have no such philosophy. No matter what your belief and life philosophy are, as a human being with integrity, you should, amongst others, honour your promise to others. If your promise is to refund the money, then honour it.

That’s all i’m, and i believe others (staffs, teachers, members), asking for. Return to us what’s rightfully ours.

There will be another meeting tomorrow @ 1:30pm at Cheras Plaza outlet which TJ will attend to discuss the matter with all the YZ teachers and employees. 3 members been appointed just now as representative of members to attend this meeting.

The NTV7, 8TV and Utusan M’sia were attended the meeting just now.

TJ, i have been attending classes at YZ Damas for about 6 years. You were one of my first teachers there. Your classes were always popular & full & i remember you were quite a nice guy - always spent time speaking to your members, always in the studio. As the place got popular, you disappeared & a whole lot of outlets opened up. I hear also that you became arrogant as biz got bigger - stopped doing yoga, lost sight of reality & got greedy. What a shame! Over the years, at Damas esp, i thought you had really gotten it right…. fabulous teachers, great staff, wonderful array of students. If you had just kept it within the 2-3 studio’s, not introduce unrealistic lifetime schemes & kept your heart in it! You would’ve gained so much recognition & respect for your contribution to society. Instead, now you are incessantly cursed & will be remembered as a liar & a cheat & an arrogant b****** And i agree…. you have also left a bad taste in the foreign teachers’ mouth — word will spread…

Wake up guys, YZ is finished. No way the teachers are going to get back their salary etc. Mr.TJ already said YZ is a Sdn Bhd. No money means close shop…no one holds responsibilities! If YZ can pay all debts including cleaners salaries, then, it never have to temporary close for a week. Is just a game to make YZ fall gracefully. Who knows what excuse after 3rd Aug? I hope i m wrong but why are there so many big companies including banks being taken over without having to close for a week? What difference does it make to close a week for NEW MANAGEMENT to takeover???? Only Mr.TJ knows the best…….

Below is what i wrote to mr TJ on September 09, 2007:

Hi Mr TJ

I have had very bad experience when my first joined Yogazone. My case was published on in year 2006 and eventually it has been solved.

Since I have made such complaint in year 2006, I would expect the same problem will not be repeated, but it is so sad to say your management never change the way they work..

I received a call from one of your consultants(Danny) saying that yogazone was having a promotion in the month of May. He persuaded me to convert my one-year package to one of the package below:

RM4888 (Life package For one outlet only ) or

RM5888 (Life package For all yoga clubs ) or

RM6888 (Life package For all Yoga Club and Yoga Zone) or

RM9888 (Life package For all YC , YZ and Yfitness) .

Besides, I was told this promotion would be valid until 31/05/2007.
On 20/05/2007, I went for classes as usual and I was informed by the agent that their management had suddenly changed their decision; the promotion would be ended on 20/05/2007.

I have explained to them (Danny and Nicole) that I need longer time to think due to I have a very bad experience with Yogazone. I have told them up front that if the packages depreciate within a few months I will definitely make complaint to public media. (It happened on me in year 2006).

After a long discussion with your agent, I decided to sign up since I was told that I won’t be able get such great offer after 20/05/2007.

In July, I heard from one of your consultants saying that new comer only need to pay RM 4888 and they would be entitled to have free flow. I checked with Danny, but he said otherwise.
On 08/09/2007,I checked with another consultant. I was so surprised that new comer only need to pay RM 4200 and they are entitled every outlet for life.

How does this RM4200 work?
Nicole told me that they are selling at the price of RM 5888 (Life package for all outlets) ,plus ,one year free membership ( it doesn’t really make sense to me since this is a whole life package, and the funniest part is yogazone will help new members to sell this so called “FREE” membership to other customer at the price of RM 1188 ). In addition, RM 500 cash rebate will be given.

In other words, in order to get a life time membership for all outlets, every new comer only required to pay RM 5888-RM1188-RM500 = RM4200.

Since I have invested RM 4888, I asked for free flow from Miss Nicole, she needs me to pay RM1000 extra.

In my opinion, if Yogazone keeps running business without changing the old style, I am afraid all customers will give up yogazone and eventually end up with BANKRUPTCY.

Well, a good answer given by Miss Nicole is :

“ Yogazone’s business is doing very well, and I have many customers coming in, you don’t have to worry for us, I don’t mind you ADVERTISE via public media for Yogazone. You are welcome to do it. With your advertising, I guess more people will know us”

I am not sure how you train your staff and I think this is the worst services I have ever had.

I woke up this morning thinking that all this was just a bad dream.. however when I wondered for a moment in my bed, still shocked from the jolting awakening, I realized that all this is true and I am still in a state of a struggle. A struggle for survival.
When I first started with YZ, it had been one of my happiest moments in my life. Earning a decent living doing a noble job of spreading and sharing peace and tranquility. Friends and family, especially my parents were very proud of me for making it out in another land being independent and at the same time managed to sustain my ailing parents back home. Until now…
Almost everything I’d ever believed in is being challenged to the edge of insanity. The most heartbreaking thing is that now my family has been effected in the most despairing state.. I had made this land my life, my home, my comfort and the best thing was I had made some really fabulous and kind-hearted friends, whom some had been true angels.
After reading all the comments, I sensed an incredible amount of violence, vulgarity and unmanageable anger that had really disappointed me..
I am simply lost for words for such disorders. Have all the teachers including myself failed to indoctrinate any form of Yogic principles and reasonings? After hundreds of comments, it has yet to bring anything to just. So here I am humbly urging everyone to practice letting go.. for now. Let the people who are fighting this battle for us do the justice. As for the rest of us, lets move on and be pro-active. We’ve only got ONE life to live and its very short.. We have little time for love, so why spend what we have for hate?

I wish all the YZ’s teacher, staff can get back what they should! So pity for those oversea instructor which kick out from their ‘home’. I wish YZ continue operating next Monday, as a practitioner, we just wish can continue practising …as teacher, I think beside of payroll issue, they still wish can continue conducting classes… Let us transit positive chi…

各位，不好意思！小弟是某著名报社的小小记者，今日受邀前往直击采访YOGA ZONE的蕉赖分行，那里还真的是群情汹涌，众人们的言论不禁让小弟捏一把冷汗。。。。。。其实，小弟是从几位人士口中得知此网站，也受托于众人希望把一些言论与意见刊登于本报刊，但基于大部分得人士都不肯透露姓名，也考虑到他们情绪激动的因素，所以他们所提供的资料只可供作参考与聆听，在此先向各位说声抱歉，帮不上忙。

关于这里的言论，小弟也大约浏览过了, 发觉其中的言论绝大部分都与我所收集回来的资料不谋而合，整颗心不禁不寒而栗。但同一时间也对仍在职的职员肃然起敬，惊讶大家竟能在如此严苛(没薪水，没福利，没管理层。。。。。。) 的工作环境下继续上班，是什么原因呢？也因此我跑了数间，与几位职员攀谈了一会儿，得知当中一些不为人知的秘密，却爱莫能助，只能祝福他们能度过此关了。

不得不说的是，日前遭人泼红漆的某间分行，我与几位同事这几天曾试过在不同时段，乔装不同身份前往向那里的职员查探消息，但都无功而返。比较苦恼的是，无论我们装得与他有如何熟络或严肃，都套不到半句话来。更妙的是，他不但能巧妙的回答我们的问题，也让我们没机会再发问之余的时候，准备台阶让我们下,之后还礼貌的送我们出去。在谈话当中，其实我察觉到另一位职员似乎想对我欲言又止，可惜的是，都一一被他挡了下来了。。。。。。当时我心想：如此专业的职员要到哪去找呢？公司已走到如此地步，他也遭到如此的对待，但为何还能撑得住呢？那动力在哪？还是他有苦衷？抑或只是单纯他个人的道德与专业精神？不过，无可否认的，我很欣赏他！(老兄，你会看这部落格吗？哈。。。。。。)

why everybody so quite cos it already come out in thd headline?

I couldn’t this is actually happening, I found out the problem about 1 month ago. All Yogazone Kepong’s teachers were left. They hired new teachers who don’t seem to know how to teach. All teachers have different way of teaching which is not consistent at all. For the half year i have join, my back bone is hurting now. But Kepong branch doesn’t allow me to ask withdraw or ask for refund. The worker scolded me and said “it’s non-of my business if u don come to class, the money will still continue to deduct, unless u cancel ur credit card, the she hung up my call.” Can you believe this? they have no customer service, and now! it is declaring about ending the business. I would like to take back my money, Fomca said we could do that. I have paid for 1 year, left about 4 months, i hope they can pay me back.

let’s look at the maths. the paid up capital of the company is less than RM300,000 and the amount owing to EPF and Socso exceeds RM1,000,000 and amount owing to Ah Long ??? (exceed RM1 mil??) any body’s guess. Plus other creditor (rental/electricity/etc) another few hundred thousand??
Effectively, YZ is insolvent. Do the maths, they are just buying time before he gets thrown into jail.
TJ, from your reply above, looks like your other shareholders are not going to back you up and if I am the shareholders, I will surely sure you for mis-management and take up a CBT case against the management (that is you)
Why would any ‘new management’ want to come in knowing that a possible receivership will come in and take over the company with the court order…
You also mention about all the high pay your partners/managers are getting.. how about yourself?? you fail to put that down.. my best guess would be in the region of RM50,000 a month?? plus all the expensive holidays and 5 star hotels??
By selling the GC cheap is intension to cheat your loyal customers and taking their future money to cover your current debts. knowing that you will take the $ and close the shop soon. why not sell them 4,200 and get people to part with their hard earn $ to pay for your luxurious lifestyle??? I truly understand why you would sell them at 4,200… So that more people get con. I am surprise that you did not sell them below 3,000 so that you can get another 1,000 people sign up. that will mean 3 mil. surely will cover your expensive team of managers.
Again, if u do the maths right. with a overhead of 1.2mil, you only need 12,000 members to pay RM100 each to break even… my best guess is that you have about 12,000 to 15,000 active members… where do all the money go??? to your pocket? your boyfriend’s pocket?? your girlfriend’s pocket?? only you and god knows!! and let’s face it, most of us members are paying more than RM100 per month… what happen to the extras?????!!
All fellow paying members… let face facts… there is no way anyone would buy over from TJ. even if he were to give his shares for free, any businessman would think twice or three times. your company is insolvent or we commonly call it bankrupt. Would I take out RM3mil to save your sorry ass?? is YogaZone name worth that much?? you can claim goodwill, seriously, with the current situation your goodwill is only worth RM1. nothing more… Any sensible businessman will take the RM3mil to start a new setup and get all other members to pay monthly and work out a scheme to offer your GC member whereby they enjoy a certain discount..
I guess we can kiss our fees paid good bye..

I am deeply felt sorry to my fren that I had intro her to join the membership. Although, the fees is not as much as those GC members but I really felt BAD to her. She just joined after a week then the rumours and news all comes out in sudden and it was really a SHOCKED to all of us!~

with so many members get con. and no way for TJ or his team to turn around. maybe we should form a YZ corporative that every one of the 12,000 to 15,000 member contribute a small and hire the existing team or employees and form a committee to run the yoga business. this was we can put proper business in place and no hanky-panky business so that all the members here can practice yoga.
Say, with 12,000 members paying RM100 each, we are looking at RM1.2mil a month. this is more than enough to pay teachers/front desk staff, etc
I bet a lot of members are willing to chip in.
I for one can name a few.
This way also make sure the good teachers and even foreign teachers are pay promptly and get their life going.
With the current situation, TJ is history and let’s move forward

I can’t understand why a corporate doing the restructuring exercise in such a way. I believe TJ and the Management know their financial situation ealier. why the Company not plan it earlier? I don’t think there will be a new group to take over a bad reputation company lo… my GC fees (RM3,600.00)has gone into the sea

This is in reply to comments by our teacher Azmi. The most failing part, as I noticed, since joining YZ 2 years ago, is the emphasis on the physical aspects of yoga. The members (including 4 of my colleques who joined) all discussed about asanas. Yoga is more than that. Its being mindful of the stillness in asanas. Deeper peace can only be found in meditation to transcend “the lack” in this materialistic world. The founder+top management had displayed their deluded minds since getting rich. In turn this promote anguish & fear (no money) to almost all teachers/employees/members alike. Thank you Azmi for your last paragraph of advise - wisdom. If you’re not paid for months yet can guide us to have mental inner strength and clarity. I salute you for being positive to move-on.

Yeap, Azmi is really great teacher and so called YOGIS! As a yoga pratitioner, teacher always urge us to letting go!! so please go your anger! I missed Azmi’s class.. Azmi always urge the practitioner in the begining of class, “Please set the intention of today!” , be frank, it is very motivate for me!!! Please let me know if Azmi conduct classes in anywhere in future , if YZ really gone.

Even if the new management comes in, I have lost confidence with the quality of the teachers. Apparently most good and famous trainers have gone! Left over new and inexperienced ones… So what is the point?

I’m a GC life member joined since last year.I read tru all the messages and felt all the energies and “watch” all the dramas in it.
It’s interesting and blessed as a human being where u can experience all these emotions. What people do to u is their karma but your reaction and response to them is yours.
No problem can ever be resolved by condemning it.
Think from the end,contemplate yourself are surrounded by the conditions, people, events, circumstances that you want to produce, u will get what u want to see. Quantum physics proved this.
Be an appreciator rather than depreciator.
We create our own reality, no one is a victim. Every situation is a lesson to learn from.
I can call myself a victim if i want to. But i know WHO I AM, i’m not this body, i’m just a spiritual being experiencing in a human body. I can choose to hold onto pain, anger, hatred and suffer forever as long as u choose so, i can choose to just let go and move on. Whatever it turns out, it’s the way it meant to be. Money is just energy, this is an opportunity to raise one’s consciousness to a higher level. Move on, there is abundance in the world waiting for everyone to appreciate and see. See the +ve aspects rather than the -ve side. U will find it even in the most negative situation if u determine to find it. I jsut let go and what comes later i’ll accept and smile that i am able to be with what is. JUst Be. Enjoy your present moment. Be a real YOGI.

drsu: u’r asking ppl to forget about their hard earned money, which they hv invested wif YZ. think about it… y do ppl choose YZ? being a large corporate entity, it probably has a very strong foothold, hence the trust of its members. and now, dat trust has been betrayed every so badly. it’s not the members fault to be angry, they hv every right to be. For they hv been cheated and ripped off in broad daylight. so, for u to request the members to “move on” after losing several thousands… is being disrespectful to those dat have poured $$$ into something which they had placed their trust upon. maybe you can afford to lose the $$$, but not everyone can afford to. perhaps they won’t be able to get their hard-earned $$ back, but at least bring justice to their loss.

i hope this saga will teach all of us a lesson in life. and i hope a solution can be found, and may the perpetrators be brought to justice. namo amitabha.

I strongly agreed with Alicia. But is easy said then done. Is not easy to run a coperative when $$$ and people are concern,moreover, most members are beaten n hv no confidence in any health club anymore. Mr.TJ is a smart man,fr what he has written, looks like he remembers every details he said to his shareholders,friends,teachers,staffs and their salaries etc. He shd hv predicted the consequences what if sales of cerain mth drops,just like any companies, certain amount of monies shd hv put aside as contigency fund just incase. Any Financial institution will not lend money to service business like YZ as there isn’t any collateral. Where r the monies
