YZ Branch meeting or someone wedding dinner r?

Any update to the meeting. Hopefully is a good news to the existing member. Dear YZ, please let us have a reasonable price for us to continue our membership otherwise I will say good bye to you! RM88 is too expensive as I have another RM1,000 still paying installment bank. How can I continue pay top up again? In future, I will not trust or commit to sign up any membership especially Malaysia Fitness/Yoga Centre.

So wat was the outcome??

I absolutely agree with JC. Y should I pay again as I still have nearly 2K to settle to the bank.All my massage vouchers and monthly vouchers also gone with the wind. If my husband knew about these sure I will kena kau kau fr him. Ai.

Heard that there was no outcome from that meeting..very sad. Guess my money will go into the drain..still owing to bank…a good lesson to learn…in future will not make any prepayment for any services package purchase since there is nothing to hold when the merchant close shop !

i just signed up my GC 4 months ago, RM88 is toooo …………..much………………RM50 will be reosanable.

Agreed with sk, RM88 is too expensive as existing member already paid for the packages, i.e. RM99 + RM88 = RM187, the rate is much more than a new member join at RM150 per month. Maybe someone can propose a more reasonable rate such as RM38 in the kepong meeting today.

With new management, extra charge RM 88 for existing member… this concept is burden us… What is the different we join outside…We still need to pay extra????

I lagi worse, signed up GC in Feb’08, pay instalment RM195 per month, still have one more year to go. RM88? forget it!

Yes I do agreed with JC as it is not fair to ask the existing members to pay again.

Has called up to Kepong branch today, the staff told that free classes are given within month of Sept. By Oct, existing yogazone members need to pay extra RM88 while new members monthly fees is RM138.

The RM88 is the new member fee for YZ members to the new investor that just took over YZ Plaza Damas & Kepong outlets. This will take effect from 01 Oct 2008 and existing YZ members can only enjoy the free classes at these 2 outlets till end of Sep. This was informed thru yesterday’s meeting at Plaza Damas outlet. It was updated by a member representative and posted in the blog of http://yogalover88.blogspot.com.

Seems like the Kepong meeting tiday with the same outcome… Wonder any further update…

We are all the victim of yoga-love. I join the YC last yr. My life member start at mid Jun-08 and still own the bank for balance sum at 191/monthly installment. I do not mind to pay certain nominal amount per month to carry on enjoying the class.

I wonder whether append proposal can work.
If any centre has more than 2000 life and yearly member and has more than 1000 yoga-love like me willing to pay a nominal sum of about rm20 to 30/mth to carry on the class. Whether this amount can provide 2 classes for the early morning and 4 classes for the evening. and cover other overhead.

I would like to take this opportunity to thanks all the YZ teachers for their delicate work, care and detail intrustions esp to Apple, Bobo, Chaniel, Cindy, Danny, Deepak, Ethan, Joane, Ken, Kim, Mandy, Queenie, Sharon, Stephanie, Thomas and Zen ….etc.
I enjoy the phrase “alternative pose for begginer” , “enjoy the pain” fr Zen, “we are all freind” fr Stephanine.
A special thanks to Bobo for her encouragement, to Chaniel for bringing her maid to clean the studio, to Apple for asking her mother to man the door, to Thomas for providing free open air class and to all teacher who give classes in the last 2 months.
I wish we still has the opportunity to attend their classes.
I miss you all and fellow learners.

Conclusion, dont waste any cents to sign up with the new management so called “Urban Yoga”, must well throw the money into the drain or donate to charity.

so no chance at all to get back our money? hey paying an instalment everymonth is difficult…wat more paying for nothing?! how can this ppl be so irresponsible? so next time we can open an aerobic centre and when we have 1000 members then we will close it down and runaway with the money and none has the right to ask for refund? isnt it the same logic?

Would suggest we report to the Commercial Crime on the shareholders & directors. Pure cheating scheme, closing down existing outlets(heavily in debt) & reopening new outlets with same shareholders. If you don’t mind throwing away your RM88, please donate to a legal fund to take action against the directors & shareholders, including Lay Gaik since she is still a shareholder of YZ and the receiver for possible breach of professional ethics and duties. Don’t let these unscrupulous business people from surviving and cheat the people’s hard earned money. Still remember the 1997/98 financial crisis? Same scenario happenning! Forget about those meetings. No proper notice to invite all members to the meeting. How can a shareholder benefit fully from a shareholder restructuring scheme? Think about it! In all restructuring, shareholders must bear all the losses first and not creditors like us.

It is not reasonable to charge 88 in every month.if the start operating cost is high, we can paid for the first time, but not 88 in every month.

There are around 20 000 members from what i read from newspaper. If new company can provide gc or 1 year member at a lower price, it will attract many members back to this yoga center. Still got a lot to earn for new company. And charge us RM 138 after 3 year for gc member and after 1 year for annum member.

so wat is the conclusion now? i have stop my yoga abt 1 month and i feel lazy to join back and no mood coz the centre is not clean, no staff and class was very limited.

This is daylight robbery. Sorry I will never pay a single sen to this establishment anymore, no matter how many times you change your name. Besides, where is my salary??? Probably this RM88 is used to sustain the current operations, all the old debts will not be settled. Damn.

I’ve just called the receiver……
they give the same answer…there is a court order to attend this friday….they will put up notice as soon as practical..it has been almost a month the receiver do their job…but until now…still no response…

Any body can suggest me a yoga centre that offers kids yoga. My 2 daughters stop kids yoga fr YZ around 2 months.

I tried to search fr the website that given by you but not much information I get except I got a poster of Astangha Yoga for kids. I will teach my kids using the postures that posed by a kid in the poster. I am sure my kids will love it.

Yes, we should thank Jess for the blog. At least the member knew what’s going on. As per stated in the blog, DAP had organised a meeting yesterday for Yoza Zone member yesterday.
The outcome of yesterday meeting is as below :

As per discussion yesterday, a committee called “Action Committee Yoga Zone Sdn Bhd” is being formed. The member comprise of:

Committee: Lee Boon Yee

The committee is being formed to served as the representative for YFitness & Yoga Club Klang. The committee will need to gather all the information of the member and filed it according to the action suggested above. Yogazone in Plaza Damas stopped classes today.. can we get back our money?! i ‘ve not started my life time membership yet.. i’m paying RM206 for 18 MONTHS!! gosh.. i can’t believe i have to pay so much for NOTHING..

2. Refunds and Cancellation of Credit Card Installment payments

Please be advised that members’ claims for refunds are ranked unsecured and will be dealt with strictly pursuant to the relevant provisions of the Companies Act, 1965.
Based on our preliminary assessment, the proceeds from the realisation of the Company’s assets may not be sufficient to discharge the secured and priority creditors in full, which include the Inland Revenue Board and Employees Provident Fund. Accordingly, there would not be any funds available to meet the claims for refunds. Should the situation change during the receivership, you will be notified through this website accordingly.
Please also be advised that the R&Ms are not in the position to advise members in relation to credit card matters, including cancellation of credit card installment payments. Kindly contact your credit card issuing bank for further queries.
