Filed Under (Staying Fit & Healthy) by admin

I turned into a Flexitarian more than six month ago. During that time, I wasn’t serious about it till recently when I read more and more about meat and yoga. Even Ninie has turned a vegetarian. Hats and cap off to her. She is one truly Yogis I know. Not many people has come to the term of Flexitarian. Vegetarian adhered to 100% vege diet but a Flexitarian is semi-vegetarian diet who consume four or more meatless meals per week involving the practice of eating mainly vegetarian food but making occasional exceptions for social, pragmatic, cultural, or nutritional reasons.

For my personal reason, I do not want to give up meat entirely, but want to recognize the health benefits connected with decreasing consumption of meat and be a better Yogi. During the weekdays with my busy schedule juggling between work and family and yes, blogging! I hardly have the time to cook at home. I ate lots of raw vegetable and drank lots of juices instead of coffee.

This is an example of what my family had for lunch. We had big red juicy strawberries, edamame (green soya beans), zucchini and unagi roll. At times, we had Bak Kut Teh without the pork. Really! I have to beg the Uncle to sell me vegetarian Bak Kut Teh as he was quite reluctant at the first place.

Obviously, I felt much healthier, lighter and more flexible now.

That looks so fresh and delicious. And yes, being a vegetarian really makes you feel lighter – physically and mentally.

Your bento lunch box looks really yummy.

Jess, I hope it’s ok for me to post some unrelated “flexitarian” here.

With the chaos that is going on with YZ, I am pooling some teachers to teach at my condo, close to The Weld.

Those interested to join the class with some really good & experienced teachers, pls e-mail me at

[email protected] or

read my 1st page of my blog (influenced by Jess, thank you) at

http://[email protected]

Thank you again,
Ivy

Hi Ivy,

It is yinyangyoga.blogspot.com and it is a nice blog and my favourite music, Canon. Me too influenced by YogaJess and just started a new blog as well last month. Btw, are you the yogababy posted the same message at yogalover88.blogspot.com as noticed the same email address?

Ya, you said you gathered some of the teachers to teach yoga at your condo, but found the schedule and charges for unlimited classes posted in your blog seems like a yoga center…?

Hi YogaJess,

I’m so impressed by your Bento Maria #27 Sunflower Sausage and show it to my colleagues. One of them couldn’t wait further and tried it on the same day. She was so excited and mms me the photo immediately as she did it with the first sausage…

Hi Yoga Lover,

Thanks for the correction,so IT illiterate!! Yes, the same person, frankly I was a little confused why yogababy appeared in your blog as that is my blog’s name, ehmmmm??

Definately not a yoga center with “chiew pai”, There is rental charges for the hall usage RM100 per day + teachers’ fees. + I need at least 10 pax to start, & still I have to do some charity from my own pocket 🙂 you can work out the cost. If it’s a yoga center like you mentioned, then of course I can bear the cost but then its not. Its a community for everyone.

Namaste,

ladies, there is such a thing as being too ‘yin’ from overconsuming raw fruits, juices, veges. watchout when you feel lazy, tired, loose stools. Those planning to conceive or pregnant be extra careful. Balance diet is best
