Sorry to say that it is not only Deepak that is facing crisis. There are 6 other foreign teachers that have reached a critical point. Malaya, Matthew, Dr. Ameen, Azmi, Pari, and myself (not to mention my husband that moved here with me). There are also 4 front desk staff from Indonesia that are currently living hand to mouth on a day to day basis which is considered indentured servitude.

We all have left the safety of our countries and families in order to offer Malaysia a higher standard of yoga.

No one will hire us because we are too qualified.
The Foreign affairs office will not help us because we make to much money.
This situation is beyond our embassies help.
Like Deepak and Malaya, we all will be locked out of our homes with in a week’s time.

Those of you that have the resources here is a list of ways you can help:
*Lawyer-recommendations and fees
*Rent-there are 5 apts. left. The rent is between 1500-2000rng per apt.
*Utilities-between 150-200rng per apt.
*Flight tickets-some of the teachers and front desk staff just want to go home-but are stuck here.
*Students-some of us have space in our apts. to hold classes. If there are enough students and the teachers are willing to teach out of their homes, they may be able to survive.
